Johannes Justus has been supporting church planting in Israel for many years in cooperation with Elim Hannover.
The starting point of his work was the church work in Petah Tikva (Tel Aviv region), which has been ongoing for several years. In 2019 another church plant in Rishon le Zion (Tel Aviv region) has been added and since 2020 a church plant in Jerusalem. Others are currently in the making and we will report on them soon.
JERUSALEM
This dream began with a prayer room in Jerusalem. Here, people came together regularly to pray, setting the stage for a church plant.
In the fall of 2020, this dream came true. Pastor Eliezer Muzychenko is currently accompanying the young congregation with his wife Anna.
PETAH TIKVA (REGION TEL AVIV)
The church planting work started with Pastor Eliezer Muzychenko and his wife Anna. Over many years the relationship between the two, our pastor Johannes Justus and his wife has developed.
This good relationship led to the idea of supporting this church plant and planting more churches in Israel.
Currently, about 45 people attend the services in Petah Tikva.
RISHON LE ZION (TEL AVIV REGION)
The good development of the church has encouraged us to take the next step and start planting another church in Rishon le Zion, another suburb of Tel Aviv.
Pastor Aviel Stankevitch and his wife Tatyana are leading the work of the young church plant.
NETANYA
Artyom and Antonina Malanin founded the New Generation “Skiniya Israel” church in Netanya in 2019.
Artyom is still working in his old job in the metal industry. In March 2021, their church joined our work in Israel and also became part of the Federation of Free Churches of Pentecostalism.
ASHKELON
Oleg Ershov and his wife Inna have been serving as pastors in southern Israel in the city of Ashkelon for several years. Their church numbers 46 people. This year they decided to become part of the Association of Independent Churches of Israel in order to build the Body of Christ in the Holy Land in unity with us.
